Who is a woman to you?

For this project, we asked women from different countries a simple question:

What makes you feel confident as a woman?

There was no script, no predefined idea of what the answer should be — only real voices, shaped by personal experience, feelings, and the lives they live.

They are different.

In where they come from...

A woman smiling softly against a dark background.

A mother of two building her life in a new country.

...in how they move through the world...

A woman resting her hands near her face in a light outfit.

A surfer and a good partner, following her own rhythm.

...in the roles they carry

A woman looking over her shoulder beside a light wall.

A woman creating her own path through work, love, and change.

And yet, through every answer, we felt something deeply familiar.

Confidence — not as something external, but as an inner state.

Quiet. Grounded. Personal.

For some, it begins with strong mental and physical health.

For others, with the ability to listen to themselves and make choices from within.

In their words, softness is not weakness, but maturity.

Strength is not control, but inner grounding and boundaries.

Through conversations, portraits, and movement, we wanted to capture something real — not perfection, but presence. Not a definition, but a feeling.

Because confidence is not something you put on.

It is something you return to.

Confidence is the new sexy
